OK, this will be the last post on levaraging the power of videos for grabbing tons of free traffic.
I’ve given you 3 ways to create videos without even using a camcorder or camera so you have no reason not to use videos in your promotions.
Here are just a few reasons why you should be using videos.
- Google loves video sharing sites. They just happen to own Youtube and Goggle video
- Google’s spiders crawl videos sites hundreds a times a hour
- Google will list your new video in their search results sometimes in as little as an hour and rank it highly
- Google will list the same video mulitple times on the first page as long as it is posted to different video sharing sites
Hopefully you are beginning to see the power of sharing videos. OH, before I forget, make sure you social bookmark your video urls to numerous social bookmarking sites for even more link love.

Hey Guys, hope everyone had a great holiday and safe New Year.
I know I promised you a video on how I got the traffic results I showed you in my last post, but something went wrong. I recorded a half hour video but when I uploaded it to put on my blog the sound was way off. Not sure what happened as I mentioned before, I’m a newbie with camtasia. So hopefully I’ll get it figured out soon so you can view it. Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last 12 months or so I’m sure your familar with Social Bookmarking sites. Social bookmarking can help you create incoming links to your sites and also possibly increase the number of results in the search engines for a given term.
The social bookmarking incoming links aren’t as “valuable” as other types of “hard coded” links…but hey, they do add value to your traffic-getting efforts.
Basically it all comes down to proper keyword selection. The more targeted the keyword phrase, the better your chances are of ranking high.
Key steps for ranking for a specific term using social bookmarking sites.
1. Shoot a short video on the subject your trying to rank for.
2. Load the video onto youtube and other video sites.
3. Post the video to your blog
4. Submit the blog post url to 10 or more social bookmarking sites.
5. Submit the video page itself at youtube to 10 or more social bookmarking sites.
Thats it! You should be ranking for that specific term within 24 hours.
